Key words in the so-called Political Communication of the Third Phase. Political Campaign strategies on the basis of the theories of the “Information processing”. Online communication analysis. The role of party-systems in the organization of political campaigns: national and international context, with a particular focus on the USA context. Public opinion analysis for a strategic political communication. Political marketing.

A good knowledge of the instruments and schemes of the political-electoral communication, in order to gain the basical professional skills for political consulting.

Oral examination. The oral exam will focus on the issues discussed during the classes, with a particulaar focus on the theoretical frames adopted

The course analyses the formation of public opinion, the voter’s choice and the personalization of politics from a theoretical and empirical point of view.
